"Know what you want to do, hold the thought firmly, and do everyday what should be done, and every sunset will see you that much nearer to your goal." - Elbert Hubbard

Monday was welcomed by: sleeping in, cleaning, grocery shopping and family movie time! It's a new week and a new month! Time to put your dreams and goals to the forefront and start taking the corresponding baby steps in accomplishing them!

Monday night I had my first team meeting for the Saint Joseph's College of Maine Women's Soccer Second Team! We have a great turnout of 13 girls! I am so excited to be coaching my own team and getting back into a sport I really love!

Tuesday morning came way to early, but I welcomed it with a hot yoga class! September is National Yoga Month! There is no better start to a morning than living the sweat life at Greener Postures Yoga Studio! Just me and my mat!

After work we took a family walk with a beautiful sunset! Tuesday I was feeling extremely grateful for all the opportunities in my life and being surrounded by people who love and support me!

We had my favorite, breakfast for dinner! I am so lucky Cyn enjoys cooking!

Wednesday I did my first workout at Maniac Crossfit! It was a great workout and fantastic new facility! Come check it out at 174 US Route One in Scarborough, look them up on Facebook at Maniac CrossFit or email Brayton@maniac-Crossfit.com

I got a picture with Head Trainer Brayton and Trainer Mikayla! I am so proud of them!

Thursday started off as a crummy morning but I started it on my mat with the heat cranked up! It was the perfect choice after the soreness from my CrossFit workout started to kick in!

After work my dad and I headed out for our last bike before we dominated 62 miles on Saturday! We just went out for about an hour but had a great ride! It definitely felt like Fall!

He keeps me sain. He is always there to talk with me through hard times and to be with me to celebrate the good! He supports me in so many ways and I am so lucky to have a dad like him!

Later I ran my first Dryland practice for the Seals Swimming Goal Team 2! We had 10 kids show up an it was a blast! They worked hard and gave me a great baseline to build off! I feel so lucky to have this opportunity to work on building these kids fitness while helping them improve their swimming ability!

Thursday night we were feeling like fall with Football on TV, our first Pumpkinhead Beer with cinnamon sugar rim and our warm plaid fleece shirts!

Friday was my first practice with my team! We had a beautiful day for it! We went for a great run! They worked very hard!

This Thursday an outdoor basketball court was opened in memory of Clark Noonan. It looks amazing!

I was requested to make a quick shout out to my buddy Lauren Chouinard. Congrats on your goal last week in the game! Keep up the great work little one!

The rest of our Friday was extremely relaxing as I was up at 5 Saturday morning!

My parents and I signed up to do the Lighthouse bike ride at SMCC! It took us around the state to different lighthouses and scenic vistas!

We were excited to get going! And had a fabulous day for it!

Dad and I even stopped at Two Lights and had some Clam Cakes mid bike! Why not?! We couldn't have asked for a better day!

We started biking at 7 AM and I got home around 5 and Cyn insisted we celebrate my day of biking and we headed to Binga's for Dinner! We had a great time! I am so lucky to have her!

Sunday morning we had our Pellet Stove installed compliments of Cyn's dad and brother (The Pete's)! So grateful and looking forwar to using it this winter! We had to spark it off and are so happy with our decision to purchase one!

I had my first Pumpkin Muffin - YUM!

Peter was giving Bela lots of love this morning before his Soccer game!

We had another fun filled week! I realized how much I love Biking! And I also signed up for 3 races!

1.) Ladies Night Out 5k
2.) Walk from Obesity
3.) Half at the Hamptons

I love having races to look forward to. It makes the training feel less like work and more of a preparation for the final event! I would suggest everyone sign up for a race, it will help motivate you to stay on track and reach your goals!

I hope your first week of September started on a positive note, but if not there is plenty of time to turn that around! Pick your head up and start now! It's never too late to start over! Stay on track, even with all the temptation at your Football parties, there is always a healthy alternative! Make the change, not just for a day but for a lifetime!
