“Success is no accident. It’s hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.” - Pele

Happy happy happy Monday & cheers to being super productive! I got so much work done and I would have to say thanks to a yummy sugar free coconut latte at Scarborough Grounds to making it happen! January is a busy month for me and I've got some deadlines coming up I need to be ready for! Today I felt on the track to reaching those goals and what a great way to start the week!

After a busy day I managed to squeeze in my long run of 11.5 miles during the most beauiful time of day! I love watching the sunset! Even though it gets a little scary once it goes down and it's dark it's so worth it!

Tuesday morning was perfect for Hot Yoga! I got my flow on at GPY! It felt amazing! I love following a long run with mat therapy! Haha! After work I had 2 trainings and went to the Westbrook Basketball games with my Dad! We always have fun together!

Bela's new dog bed came and she didn't know what to think of it so we put her old on on top of her new one and she loved it! Such a princess!

Wednesday I hit the road with a nice 6 miler down by Bug Light and finished my day with a strength set at Zone 3 Fitness! Feeling grateful and motivated!

After I had my last shift at Lululemon in Kittery! It was very bittersweet, but the experience has opened my eyes to so many changes I need to make in my life!

Thursday was another Zone 3 circuit day!  Followed by 2 trainings after work! Cyn made delicious Pulled Pork Sandwiches for dinner! Yum!

Friday was a busy, motivating day for me! I got so much done, and that much closer to reaching my goals! After work I had one training and took Bela for a walk! It was so nice to not have any plans! I got to clean the entire house, get up to date on laundry and take everything out of our attic to get it ready for insulation On Saturday! What a good feeling to go to bed with a clean house to start the weekend!

Saturday Morning I got up to get work done and the Insulation process began! We are so lucky that Cyn's parents, brother and sister in law was willing to help us! We got half DONE! Cyn & Bela were resting once everyone left while I studied! So cute!

I had to wake them up to get ready for Mark & Gary's surprise party at Stockhouse! We had a great time socializing with everyone!

Lisa Buotte thanks for the great photo!

After we headed to Harmony Hall to watch our friends Ben & Jaimie preform with their band! We had such a fun time!

We got home late and Bela was so excited they fell asleep snuggling!

Sunday morning we got up and got our free Coffee at Dunkin while out driveway got plowed! We came home an decided to head out to Otter Pond to check out the ice fishing! It was such a perfect snowy day!

We got home and Cyn has practice, I took Bela for a walk and went for a great run!

I came home to get work done & did some shoveling and we watched the Pats game together! We had a nice visit with Gabi and Emma and had a quiet night at home to get ready for the week ahead! We are so blessed to have all we do! And I am so proud that our hard work continues to pay off!

“One way to keep momentum going is to have constantly greater goals.” —Michael Korda

Monday was a dark, dreary & icy morning, yet I was able to find so much positivity and excitement! I got so much work done. It felt good to be on track finally in 2014!

I didn't have much time for a workout, but I got 30 minutes on my hand me down treadmill! I would love to get a new one and be able to set up a gym in our house! Someday!

We went to my parents for dinner! It was so nice to hang out with them and talk about our new goals for 2014!

We came home and were exhausted. I swear these two are the cutest thing I've ever seen! (Yes Cyn is laying in the dog bed with Bela! Haha)

Tuesday morning I needed to get in some good exercise. I went to Zone 3 Fitness and used the Arc machine for 60 minutes of Cardio then did the circuit for the day and finished with 20 minutes walking with an incline on the treadmill. It's so easy to get bored in the winter or to skip a workout but remember the feeling after you finish and push through!

After work I had 2 trainings. It's such a nice feeling getting back to normal, finally! I came home and got a bunch of work done and headed to bed early! I can feel myself getting sick, being proactive is the best medicine!

Wednesday morning I hit the streets! 11 miles conquered and boy did I feel great! It was so nice to finally not be slipping on the roads!

After work I headed to Lululemon for a little shift! I was exhausted by the time I got home and was so grateful to come home to freshly baked homemade Mac & Cheese! It's my favorite!

Thursday morning started with some yummy cottage cheese and pineapple! Yum!

I got in 60 minutes of hot yoga which was a perfect way to recover after my long run! The studio smelt amazing as there was a Chrismas tree decorated in the room! After work I taught 2 classes! They both went awesome! I came home to Cyn cooking dinner and we had a great evening together!

Friday morning I headed to Zone 3 Fitness for a class that kicked my butt! It's so nice to take a class every once and a while to go to a class instead of teaching one!

After work I went to GHOP with Murph, the boys & Kayla before Westbrook played at Gorham! We had so much fun! We went to Pete & Murph's after for lots of laughs!

Saturday morning I headed to work at Lululemon in the icey weather. I took my time, and got there safe! Once I got home I had a splitting headache and decided to lay down for a bit! We watched the Pat's game and were excited to see they will be playing another week!

Sunday morning Cyn made delicious breakfast sandwiches! Yum!

I headed out for a quick 6 miler! It was so nice to not be slipping around or wearing a hat & gloves! It was beautiful out!

I came home and went out on a few errands with Murph! We had a great time and came home to our house and recruited Kelli to come over for some kid-less girl time! We hope to do it more often!

Cyn and I did some cleaning and headed to my parents for dinner! I cannot believe my dad will be heading to hike the AT in less than 2 months! We had a great night and a great dinner and full of good conversation!

I love him so much!

Another great week came to and end, but it makes it that much easier to start the next on a positive note!

"Doing what you like is freedom. Liking what you do is happiness."

The last Monday of 2013! Can you believe it? Where did the year go?!

My body was calling for a good detox this morning so I headed to GPY for a 60 minute hot vinyasa flow! The holiday stress poured out of my body in puddles of sweat. Yuck! But extremely empowering!

I was able to enjoy lunch at home with Cyn! She made one of my favorites! Grilled ham, cheese and tomatoes with Tomato Soup! So yummy!

After work Erin and I went to Panera for Coffee and headed to Massabesic to watch Cyn coach! We had so much fun! Great minds think alike, we both got matching bean boots for Christmas! Nobody else could make a 50 minute drive both ways seem short! We had so much fun! I'm so lucky to have such an amazing best friend! I saw my first shooting star on our way home!

Tuesday morning I headed to the gym. It was so cold I just couldn't bare bundling up for a run! I jumped on the treadmill, which I dispise more than ANYTHING! It felt so good once it was over with! After I jumped into a quick 20 minute circuit for the day! There is nothing better than a little cardio & weights to kick 2013 goodbye!

Cyn made delicious buffalo chicken wraps! Ah! The joys of her being on vacation!

I had one training session with a girl I am so proud to see enjoying exercise, and just looking at her you can see she's coming a happier, stronger person! I am so proud of how far she's come and excited to see her grow even more!

After work I grabbed a coffee with an old high school friend! It had been a year since we had connected! It was so nice!

To celebrate the new year we headed to Pete & Murphs! We had a fun time! Cyn was helping Ethan with the iPad!

We headed into SoPo to see our friends at Erin's! We had lots of laughs, as always!

We headed back to Pete and Murphs then home with Erin! Our first slumber party of the new year! Love these two!

Cyn and I took the last picture of 2013 under our favorite motto hanging above our bed! We took one last year, so why not?!

Wednesday morning we both had the day off! We got up and enjoyed coffee together and Cyn headed to basketball and I bundled up and headed out for a 10.5 mile run! It was super cold, windy and very icy!

I got home and made a yummy shake to refuel! I used: banana, frozen berries, protein powder, almonds, flaxseed and a splash of water! Yum!

I decided there was no better time than the present to sign up for my first marathon! I will be running the Sugarloaf Marathon on May 18th! Cyn and I decided to make a weekend of it and booked our hotel room for Friday & Saturday! I'm so excited!

Thursday morning was a blizzard ALL DAY! I made pancakes for breakfast and we relaxed and did some cleaning! I ventured out for an hour of hot yoga to warm up and my body was grateful after the run yesterday!

I came home to some tough news... Thinking something was wrong with our furnace, after buying 2 parts and 4 hours later we realized it was a frozen pipe. Luckily we got it before it burst! Ahhh the joy of being homeowners! Haha

The boys came over to cheer us up! Murph took this picture and the boys were squeezing a bit too hard! Hahaha so much love for these two!

Friday morning was a continuation of the blizzard! My two cuddle bugs this morning as I got up for my conference call!

We had pancakes and bacon for breakfast in between phone calls and emails!

Bela loves the snow, but not the windy chill! She's a good sport, but you can tell she's not impressed wth me lol!

The past few nights I've had a wicked sore throat. This morning I tried a new tea flavor! It was very yummy and supposed to help with your immune system & digestion! My yogi quote said: "Oneness is achieved by recognizing your self."

I had one training and our workouts are just getting better and better! I feel so lucky to be able to have an impact on her life in such a positive way!

I was able to go to Cyn's games at Windham H.S! I feel so old watching them play! They look like little babies out there! I had a lot of fun! We came home, had some dinner and cuddled on the couch for the evening! Someone was extra cuddly!

Saturday morning I headed to Kittery for a shift at the Lululemon Outlet! I had a great day with the girls and feel very empowered to be the best version of myself everytime I am here! It's an amazing feeling! It was a crisp drive there, and I captured my 2 favorite quotes on the wall for the day!

I got home from work and we were trying to find a fun way to celebrate 5.5 years of being in love! We decided instead of going to a fancy dinner we would hang out at home and dragged our mattress into the living room and watched Downton Abbey! We had the best night together! I am so grateful for the people we have become and grown to be together!

I woke up at 4:30 and Bela was snuggled up fast asleep on the love seat next to me! (Where she isn't allowed!)

At 6:40 I woke up again and she was still living it up on the couch!

Sunday morning we had breakfast at Pam & Pete's with the Wescott's! We had so much time and got some special Jaelynn Love! She is so precious!

After we went snowshoeing at Riverside with Murph and Peter! It was a beautiful day!

Such a fun filled week we had and so looking forward to so much positivity in 2014. I am learning to put what matters most at the top of my priority list and focusing on finding what makes me truly happy! This is the year of making dreams a reality! I couldn't be more excited!

"Trust yourself. Create the kind of self that you will be happy to live with all your life." - Golda Meir

It's MONDAY! & It's Christmas Eve, Eve! What a yucky, rainy, icey morning! Perfect start at Zone 3 Fitness with a tough circuit training class, followed by an hour of hot yoga vinyasa flow at GPY! I just love working on my fitness! And what a great way to warm up!

After work I headed to Kittery for a quick shift and we were definitely in the holiday spirit!

Tuesday morning was cold and icey! I had a rushed out of the house to a 90 minute hot vinyasa flow with Heidi at GPY  to get my blood pumping! There is nothing better then sweating out the stress of the holidays! After work I headed to celebrate Christmas Eve with my family! We are so blessed!

Wednesday morning we enjoyed our first Christmas morning in our house! We had coffee and opened our stockings! Then we took Bela for a walk! Boy do I love these two!

After we headed to Pam & Pete's to celebrate all day with the Wescott's! Bela got her very own Patriots Jersey! Too cute!

Everyone wanted to cuddle with baby Jaelynn!

I got some new Alex & Ani bracelets! I love meaningful presents!

Thursday morning was snowy! It turned into quite the blizzard! I bundled up and got 9.71 miles in!

I had one training after work for my Drylands and we had a blast celebrating one of the girls birthdays and making the workout fun!

After I headed to the Buotte's for dinner and a movie. We always have a great time with them! We loved the movie, White House Down!

Friday morning I busted out a 6 miler and had a slow day at work! It seems like everyone is on vacation! I headed to Lululemon after work for a quick 4 hour shift! We rocked the day and had so much fun! We had a beautiful sunset sky!

Saturday morning I woke up feeling very crummy all day. I had a very quiet relaxing morning followed by a little bit of cleaning! I had a great afternoon nap which made me feel a little better!

Cyn had her Westbrook Alumni Basketball game that I went to with some friends. We had lots of laughs and continued through the night with card games at our house with Erin, Jaimie, Meg & Jenna!

I snapped a shot of cousins guarding each other at the game! Chels & Cyn!

Sunday morning I needed to get some fresh air as I woke up feeling sick in the middle of the night and was up for a few hours. I got out of the house with a nice walk with Bela! She's always a good sport for a picture!

I LOVE my new hat my Grammie made me for Christmas! She is so talented! I have a matching scarf as well but I wanted to rock the Vinyasa Scarf this morning! We had a great walk and I got to start to break in my NEW L.L. Bean Boots!

We had a nice visit with Pete & Murph and the boys! Then came home to take down our tree and pack away Christmas decorations! Cyn cooked a Boiled Dinner, Mmmm! And my parents came over to watch football and eat with us! We had a great relaxing evening and I started to feel back to normal!

Over the past few weeks I have begun the process of really believing in the things I want in my life and making this a priority. It's so hard sometimes to change our ways but in trusting my actions will lead me to my dreams is incredibly rewarding. I know I am heading in the right direction because I am learning more and more to appreciate who I am becoming! Be someone you love and are proud of. Don't do it for others, do it for YOU!
