"If you focus on results, you will never change. If you focus on change, you will get results." - Jack Dixon

I had a true case of the Mondays as the week started. It seemed like one thing after another just spiraled trying to knock me down. I took a beautiful walk on the beach to calm down and relax. It was a beautiful evening.

I also had practice. Only 6 girls were able to come but they always know how to keep me inspired. They work so hard and are always smiling.

We had Gabi and Lux visit us and Bela told us she wants a sister ;)

Cyn and her golden girls !

Tuesday morning started with oatmeal with cinnamon and banana! Yum!

Followed by a great hour of hot vinyasa flow yoga! After work I had 2 training sessions back to back, with some really great kids, followed by the SJCWS game up at Thomas College! It made for an extremely long, but productive day! We didn't get home until 11 o'clock!

Wednesday was a fun filled day! A great 5.5 mile run & I was extremely happy with my splits!

It was a beautiful morning!

I spent my afternoon/evening in Dover, NH for work! It was a very productive day! I didn't get home until 9 and you bet I was fast asleep by 9:30!

Thursday was another gorgeous day! After work I had 2 Training sessions and a spontaneous date night! It's so important to spoil the ones you love! Cyn & I headed to the Corner Room for a delicious dinner! Yum!

Friday morning came and I couldn't have been happier! Cyn got up early and treated us to Dunkin Coffees to start the day! Nothing better than a little spice of Pumpkin to kick off my Friday!

We had another gorgeous day so I decided to RUN for time! I set out for 30 minutes and turned around and ran 30 minutes back! Sometimes it's nice to just relax and enjoy the time spent running rather than trying to hit certain splits! I got about 6.4 miles in an hour and I was very pleased with this!

This was a little piece of my view!

Then, because I was feeling on top of the world I added an hour hot yoga class as well! I couldn't feel any more blessed to be able to express myself through exercise!

We went and visited Jack in the Hospital as he was diagnosed with Croup. He is such a good sport. We went for a little walk around and Murph snapped this shot!

As we were leaving the sky was gorgeous from the parking lot at the hospital!

Saturday morning Cyn and I had a date to go Stand Up Paddle Boarding! We decided to go out to Highland Lake! It was so calm! We had a great time, just wished it was a bit warmer! HAPPY LAST DAY OF SUMMER!

After we went up to SJC for the Women's Soccer game! The girls won 2-0! It was a big win for us. I couldn't be more proud of the girls! We hung out for the BBQ with the girls and families!

We got to see baby Evelynn! She is so cute, and so big!

We came home to a happy puppy who I took for a nice long walk! And got some cleaning done... Until we realized out washing machine was broken... :(

It wasn't an ideal night, but we have to remind ourselves we've still got a great life and we will just have to figure it out to make things work! It could always be worse and were lucky to have each other to talk things through.

Sunday morning we finally got to sleep in! We had a relaxing morning sipping our coffee until Cyn got started on her delicious chili!

While she cooked I took Bela for a nice walk and came home and went for a run! It was a gorgeous day!

I'm not a huge selfie picture person but I thought my shirt had a great message!

I did a total of 3.6 in 30 minutes and was pretty happy again with my splits!

We started to get festive today and began to decorate!

I swear, the best part of being a home owner is decorating!

We had such a great, relaxing & productive weekend I feel well rested for another big week ahead!

Remember: "If you focus on results, you will never change. If you focus on change, you will get results." - Jack Dixon

When I started this blog I planned to make it all about fitness, but as you've noticed it is more of a journal about my week in full! It just goes to show the end result isn't always the most important part. It's about a lifestyle. It's about being the best possible person YOU can be, and reaching your goals. Focus on what it will take to get you where you want to be and I guarantee you will get the results you are looking for sooner than expected.

Stay focused and remember exercise IS fun! Have a great week and work hard!

"When you learn to love your own company you become far more careful who you spend your time with." - Katrina Mayer

Monday morning snuck up on me this week! But it started with a breakfast date with an old friend! It was great to catch up, as always. Take time to reach out to others and listen to their journey! It's a breath of fresh air sometimes and it reminds you what is important!

After work I headed to Baxter Boulavard to get in a run! It was a beautiful evening for it! I feel blessed that this is my city! Running is my, ME time. I get to make plans, dreams and goals with myself and answer questions that I have when the day gets so busy I forget to breath. It's just me and my music. Stride for stride I am looking for the next destination or opportunity to arise!

I posted this on Instagram but I feel it's a very powerful quote! "Just remember there is someone out there that is more happy with less than what you have." Sometimes we get so caught up in our lives that we forget to enjoy what we have and stop wishing we had more. There are so many homeless people just wishing they had a home or shelter or shoes on their feet. There are people without jobs that would give anything to be employed. Take a moment to look at your life as a spectator and realize all the things you have to be grateful for! Write them down. When you start to get worked up look back and remember you are blessed, and you are exactly where you are supposed to be!

A little inspiration from Alex & Ani:

Tuesday started with an hour of hot yoga and a fruit smoothie I made with my magic bullet! I used strawberries, blueberries, banana, protein powder and coffee! Blended it all together to creat a great healthy start!

After work I had Seal's Swimming Dryland Training! I had 8 kids tonight and we ha a blast! They didn't love getting getting covered in grass but at the end I asked what they thought and they felt great! From that they headed into the pool, where I have no experience, and swam for the next hour!

I headed home and started working with my new client one on one! She is am amazing 16 year old girl full of life and excitement! We have so much in common and I feel privileged to be working with her! I've got some really fun ideas up my sleeve for us to make exercising fun!

I started Wesnesday, such a memorable and important day to our country with my toughest workout of the week! I woke up with the help of Head Trainer Brayton Chase at Maniac Crossfit! I had a great workout and really pushed myself!

Followed by another yummy shake I made! A pretty powerful start to my day!

Wednesday night my team played their first game at SMCC! It was sooooo hot! I felt terrible for the girls as I was sweating coaching. They worked so hard and I am so proud of them. One of the upperclassmen printed off a quote that all the girls put in their socks and played with! It was a great choice!

I snapped a quick shot during warm ups! We had 14 girls and they all played with 100% the entire game!

Today being 9/11 we, as Americans, have been extremely grateful! My team over at the bPositive Project posted this gorgeous photo in remembrance!

Thursday came quick, and it was greatly appreciated! It was a Hot Yoga day! And it felt so good after a tough Crossfit workout on Wednesday! My quads have so much built up lactic acid. The foam roller has been my best friend, but so painful. It's a good pain... Right? Anyone who has one knows exactly what I am talking about! Yoga really loosened me up! After work I was suppose to have Seals Dryland Training, but the weather cancelled it. I was bummed as I had a super fun workout planned for the kids! I guess they will just have to wait until next week!

Instead of training I came home to a very scared dog. Hence why Cyn was trying to calm her down. Haha.

We've been back an forth about getting a Thunder Jacket because we are not sure they work. So tonight I got out one of my tight tank tops and put it on Bela and surprisingly she was so much more calm! It was crazy! She looks soooooo funny!

We spent the night relaxing. We had breakfast for dinner :) and watched the Pats until we fell asleep. It was a nice, quiet night in! I'm always grateful for nights like these! We've got a pretty great life and on days like this we are easily reminded of it!

Jump started my Friday with a great workout at Maniac CrossFit! We did Deadlifts for Strength and our Metcon was Pull-ups & Box Jumps! First round 21 reps, second round 15 reps and third round 9 reps!

After work we celebrated me Grandfathers 84th Birthday! So lucky to have him around!

Friday night we went out to celebrate with our friends on their recent engagement! We had such a great time and love having really genuine people in our lives!

Saturday morning my Mom and I went to Zone 3 Fitness on Route One in Scarborough for a circuit training class!

We had a great workout, surrounded by great motivation!

Mom & I had a blast!

I headed home where we stacked 2 tons of pellets! Officially ready for winter!

After I had a one on one training session with an amazing young ladie! We walk/ jogged about 3 miles! We went past the horse farm! What a beautiful day!

We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day as SJCWS logged their first GNAC game! What a great game played by the girls! I was so proud to be there!

Following the game we stopped at Gilbert's Chowder House for Happy Hour with my parents, then headed home for a movie and ice cream with Pammy!

Cyn and Bela fell asleep holding hands!

Sunday morning we went to The Egg & I with Pam, Pete, Murph & the boys! Followed by a trip to Memere's to visit with the Webster's! We did a lot of cleaning and decided to take Bela to Mackworth Island!

She loved it!

Such a gorgeous day!

We headed home just in time for Football to start! Cyn made her first Spinach Artichoke Dip! It was so delicious! I'm lucky she's such a great cook!

Remember: "When you learn to love your own company you become far more careful who you spend your time with." - Katrina Mayer

YOU ARE WORTH IT!  You can make a difference  and my surrounding yourself by positive supportive people you will become a happier person! I guarantee! Work hard this week an become the person you have always wanted to be. "Today is the first day of the rest of your life. "

"Know what you want to do, hold the thought firmly, and do everyday what should be done, and every sunset will see you that much nearer to your goal." - Elbert Hubbard

Monday was welcomed by: sleeping in, cleaning, grocery shopping and family movie time! It's a new week and a new month! Time to put your dreams and goals to the forefront and start taking the corresponding baby steps in accomplishing them!

Monday night I had my first team meeting for the Saint Joseph's College of Maine Women's Soccer Second Team! We have a great turnout of 13 girls! I am so excited to be coaching my own team and getting back into a sport I really love!

Tuesday morning came way to early, but I welcomed it with a hot yoga class! September is National Yoga Month! There is no better start to a morning than living the sweat life at Greener Postures Yoga Studio! Just me and my mat!

After work we took a family walk with a beautiful sunset! Tuesday I was feeling extremely grateful for all the opportunities in my life and being surrounded by people who love and support me!

We had my favorite, breakfast for dinner! I am so lucky Cyn enjoys cooking!

Wednesday I did my first workout at Maniac Crossfit! It was a great workout and fantastic new facility! Come check it out at 174 US Route One in Scarborough, look them up on Facebook at Maniac CrossFit or email Brayton@maniac-Crossfit.com

I got a picture with Head Trainer Brayton and Trainer Mikayla! I am so proud of them!

Thursday started off as a crummy morning but I started it on my mat with the heat cranked up! It was the perfect choice after the soreness from my CrossFit workout started to kick in!

After work my dad and I headed out for our last bike before we dominated 62 miles on Saturday! We just went out for about an hour but had a great ride! It definitely felt like Fall!

He keeps me sain. He is always there to talk with me through hard times and to be with me to celebrate the good! He supports me in so many ways and I am so lucky to have a dad like him!

Later I ran my first Dryland practice for the Seals Swimming Goal Team 2! We had 10 kids show up an it was a blast! They worked hard and gave me a great baseline to build off! I feel so lucky to have this opportunity to work on building these kids fitness while helping them improve their swimming ability!

Thursday night we were feeling like fall with Football on TV, our first Pumpkinhead Beer with cinnamon sugar rim and our warm plaid fleece shirts!

Friday was my first practice with my team! We had a beautiful day for it! We went for a great run! They worked very hard!

This Thursday an outdoor basketball court was opened in memory of Clark Noonan. It looks amazing!

I was requested to make a quick shout out to my buddy Lauren Chouinard. Congrats on your goal last week in the game! Keep up the great work little one!

The rest of our Friday was extremely relaxing as I was up at 5 Saturday morning!

My parents and I signed up to do the Lighthouse bike ride at SMCC! It took us around the state to different lighthouses and scenic vistas!

We were excited to get going! And had a fabulous day for it!

Dad and I even stopped at Two Lights and had some Clam Cakes mid bike! Why not?! We couldn't have asked for a better day!

We started biking at 7 AM and I got home around 5 and Cyn insisted we celebrate my day of biking and we headed to Binga's for Dinner! We had a great time! I am so lucky to have her!

Sunday morning we had our Pellet Stove installed compliments of Cyn's dad and brother (The Pete's)! So grateful and looking forwar to using it this winter! We had to spark it off and are so happy with our decision to purchase one!

I had my first Pumpkin Muffin - YUM!

Peter was giving Bela lots of love this morning before his Soccer game!

We had another fun filled week! I realized how much I love Biking! And I also signed up for 3 races!

1.) Ladies Night Out 5k
2.) Walk from Obesity
3.) Half at the Hamptons

I love having races to look forward to. It makes the training feel less like work and more of a preparation for the final event! I would suggest everyone sign up for a race, it will help motivate you to stay on track and reach your goals!

I hope your first week of September started on a positive note, but if not there is plenty of time to turn that around! Pick your head up and start now! It's never too late to start over! Stay on track, even with all the temptation at your Football parties, there is always a healthy alternative! Make the change, not just for a day but for a lifetime!
